About Lustalux

Lustalux began life in 1991 when two friends Jeff Simnor and current managing director Richard Lancaster merged two small window film installation businesses. We have since evolved into becoming market leaders in the supply and installation of speciality window films, graphics and signs.

An Early Lustalux Vehicle showing the second of four company branding changes since 1991.

When Jeff Simnor, who has now sadly passed away retired in 1999 Richard was joined at Lustalux by Andy Macdonald who soon became a director when the company was incorporated in 2001.

We moved into our current head office on Preston Docks in 2003 and in 2015 we doubled in size by adding the adjacent unit to accommodate our ever expanding signs and graphics divisions.

We have also seen significant growth and advancement in high specification commercial window films such as externally applied weatherable films, low e energy saving films and digitally printed film and vinyl.

Into the future with signs, digital print and vehicle wrapping

In 2009 we seized an opportunity to step into the signage industry which naturally dovetailed with our cut and printed graphics activities. This addition has increased our design and manufacture capabilities opening up exciting possibilities for the future.

Our digital print and sign making capabilities mean that we can turn virtually any surface or vehicle into a a stunning visual feature.
