Periscopes Up!

Lustalux has installed film at a pretigious World War 2 U Boat exhibition on the Mersey waterfront in Birkenhead.

The German U-boat U-534 has been rescued by Merseytravel, which owns and operates the Mersey Ferries. It will form part of a wider exhibition explaining the link between the ferries and the history of underwater warfare.

The exhibition area is surrounded by a large expanse of toughened glass planar panels which required an etched glass effect including some with computer plotted "cut outs".
