Ever wondered how the humble worker bee became an iconic Manchester symbol?

Since the terrorist atrocity in the Manchester Arena, the Manchester Bee has become a symbol of defiance for the city and now appears in all manner of places. The bee has been on Manchester's coat of arms since 1842 and was put there to symbolise the hard-working people of the city.
