What are Cabochon lights?

These lights are made famous by Fairgrounds across the world. Many of the larger thrill ride theme parks have updated their lighting to LED lighting with digital RGB controllers but you’ll still see these lights used by the travelling fairground community. Cabochon lights immediately instil nostalgia and are now being used by design agencies to communicate the same endearing emotions within brand-new entertainment venues. When a client is looking for fairground nostalgia then Cabochon lights are a perfect solution.

Our manufacturing team can create almost any shape of sign and incorporate light fittings into the design. Many of our jobs use modern LED strip lights to illuminate the sign lettering but Lustalux is more than capable of implementing a range of lighting styles.

We’ve also noticed this style of lighting used to convey a message at weddings. The use of individual letters, each fitted with cabochon bulbs to light up the letters, arranged to spell the initials of the bride and groom, a surname or another event-related message.
