Glass Manifestation
Glass Manifestation is designed to be applied to glass windows, door and partitions to help stop people walking into the glass and possibly causing injury.
At Lustalux we think it’s a great opportunity to turn your blank windows, doors and partitions into works of art! Manifestation film can be a repeated logo, lines or bands at the required heights, or full colour digitally-printed designs.
Fast, efficient and helpful.

The legal bit: What’s required by law?
By law, glass manifestation is necessary to make glass visible on large panels of clear glass, which could be a health and safety hazard. Lustalux specialise in manifestations for glass, in compliance with Document N (Access to and Use of Building) in the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).
Glass entrance doors and partitions must be clearly defined with manifestation at two levels;
- 850 to 1000 mm (above the floor)
- 1400 to 1600 mm (above the floor)
They must contrast visually with the background and be seen through the glass from both sides in all lighting conditions. Document N dictates when and where window manifestation should appear, but not how it should appear, allowing you free reign on concepts and designs for your glass manifestation.
Not sure if you need glass manifestation?
Our experienced team can advise you on the best types of glass manifestation to use for your situation/project. We’re also able to explain current safety regulations and laws if you are unsure if your glass complies. We also offer guidance on creating and using your own visuals, in-house design and printing, and installation.
