When renowned Preston hairstylist David Thomas decided to relocate his flagship salon to brand new premises, he approached Lustalux during the design stage. David’s original intention was to hire an interior designer to assist with giving the space a clean, contemporary look however once he had seen what was possible with one of our interior films he realised that Lustalux could meet that requirement.
After close consultation with our Interior Film advisor Robin Longton, David opted for a Brushed Gold finish from our Cover Styl’ range. To satisfy him that he had made the right choice, Lustalux carried out a sample installation on one of the salon’s work station units, enabling David to see exactly what the finished article would look like.
Timescales were tight for the project. Although some of our work could be carried out in advance at the new salon,when the old one closed on a Saturday, we wrapped the relocated reception desk before the grand opeing the following Tuesday.
The overall finished effect is that of a stunning,contemporary establishment in keeping with the reputation of the salon. Happy customer, happy customer’s customers!
In addition to the interior film, Lustalux installed External Signage and due to the salon’s south facing aspect causing potential heat gain and glare issues we installed Solar Control Window Film to the glazing. All in all another demonstration of the broad pallet of services we offer.
For anyone refurbishing their premises, interior film is a must. Not only is it a cost effective solution, it reduces down time and disruption, vital for any business.
