For internal glazing, the best results can be achieved by manipulating the lighting between two rooms with one side more brightly lit than the other. Reflective privacy film is available in different VLT’s or Visible Light Transmissions and in different shades including silver, bronze and grey. All reflective window films will reduce UV transmission, IR transmission (heat) and glare therefore providing multiple benefits.

Will reflective film dazzle cars on the road outside my building?
This is a common misconception but in our thirty years’ experience has never been an issue.
Does frosted film block any light?
Yes, there will be some light loss. As already explained, for the one-way effect to work it need to be darker on the inside of the building. Also, when used as an anti-glare film the glass needs to be darkened just like sunglasses.
Can the film be cleaned?
Yes absolutely. We recommend a soft damp cloth or a window cleaners squeegee which is how we apply it in the first place.
Does the film scratch easily?
No. All our films are protected by a hard coating so normal daily wear and tear will not affect it.
Can the film be removed?
Yes, if desired. It is firmly bonded to the glass however with the correct tools it can be easily removed.
Will the film fade or shrink over time?
Absolutely not. All our films are warrantied for a minimum of ten years and most will last longer than that.
