what is glass safety film
glass safety film is an adhesive polyester film bonded to glazing to help hold the glass together in the event of deliberate or accidental breakage. thicknesses are measured in microns or mil (thousandths of an inch).
film thickness options
the usual baseline safety and security film is 4 mil thick (approx. 100 microns). higher thickness films offer increased protection where required.
