Art Deco

Stained Glass window film with design inspiration from the Art-Deco period. Our designs are available in square, rectangular and narrow proportions making them suitable for most window applications. The Art Deco period was (1920-1930) and one of the most famous designers was Charles Rennie Mackintosh, who inspired most Stained-Glass artists at the time.

Mackintosh’s designs are classed as Art Deco but often drew inspiration from both Mission Style and Art Nouveau style stained glass. Our patterned window stickers combine free-flow styling from numerous period artists.

Does Stained Glass Window Film Look Good?

Stained glass film can look just as nice as real stained-glass; the only difference is that you won't have the leaded texture. Our unique designs provide plenty of colour and character to homes and it can look incredible when the natural sunlight hits the window. It is a superb affordable alternative to real stain glass as the bold colours and background options provide window privacy by obstructing the view inside and out, and the designs can be removed without causing damage to your current windows. Ideal if you need window privacy in a rented home. Stained glass window stickers are also vast with Lustalux, and we can customise these designs to suit your requirements.

Does Stained Glass Window Film Provide Privacy?

We have two background options for our stain glass window stickers which provide different window privacy levels;

Firstly, we have clear which provides partial privacy for your window. The non coloured sections of the design are transparent, but the sections of the design with colour are fully obscure. Our clear options are ideal if you only require some privacy and still want the ability to see out.

Our frosted option provides complete privacy due to the background. It is fully obscure offering day and night privacy for your home. The sections of the designs with no colour have a frosted window effect and the coloured sections look slightly matted. The frosted background is more suited to bathroom windows that require full privacy.

Can I Use Window Film to Upcycle Furniture?

Yes, glass stickers are a great, budget friendly way to transform glass-front cabinets, glass tables, front doors and even shower screens. The benefit of our window stickers is that the change is not permanent, so if you did decide you wanted a change or no longer liked the look, you can remove the glass film from undamaged glass with ease. fluted glass film, patterned window film and stained-glass window decals are highly popular choices for upcycling as they can add elegance, style and block the view of clutter in glass front cabinets or for glass tables with underneath storage.

Some of our stained glass window designs are full colour and have no clear parts, this means there is no privacy difference between the clear and frosted backgrounds.
