Stained Glass window film with design inspiration from the Art-Deco period. Our designs are available in square, rectangular and narrow proportions making them suitable for most applications. The Art Deco period was (1920-1930) and one of the most famous designers was Charles Rennie Mackintosh, who inspired most Stained Glass artists at the time.
Mackintosh’s designs are classed as Art Deco but often drew inspiration from both Mission Style and Art Nouveau style stained glass. Our patterned stained glass window films combine free-flow styling from numerous period artists.
Does Stained Glass Window Film Look Good?
Stained glass film can look just as nice as real stained glass; the only difference is that you won't have the leaded texture. Our unique designs provide plenty of colour and character to homes and it can look incredible when the natural sunlight hits the window. It is a superb affordable alternative to real stained glass as the bold colours and background options provide privacy by obstructing the view inside and out, and the designs can be removed without causing damage to your current windows. Does Stained Glass Window Film Provide Privacy?
We have two background options for our stained glass window films which provide different window privacy levels;
Firstly, we have clear which provides partial window privacy. The non coloured sections of the design are transparent, but the sections of the design with colour are fully obscure. Our clear stained glass options are ideal if you only require some privacy and still want the ability to see out.
Our frosted stained glass option provides complete privacy due to the background. It is fully obscure offering day and nighttime privacy. The sections of the designs with no colour have a frosted window effect and the coloured sections look slightly matted. The frosted background is more suited to bathroom windows that require full privacy.
Some of our window film designs are full colour and have no clear parts, this means there is no privacy difference between the clear and frosted backgrounds.
