Which is Better, Frosted Glass Spray or Frosted Window Film?
Frosted window film is more often the better choice; it is cleaner and provides a even appearance. It does leave sparce areas like frosted spray does and frosted glass film provides an additional layer of protection from damage. When removing frosted window film wins again, it is much easier to remove, doesn’t leave a mess and doesn’t damage your window. All you need to do is quickly wipe clean your windows once removing the window film.
Frosted film is more expensive than frosted spray, but you’ll notice the difference in appearance, finish, ease and longevity.
How to Stop People Seeing Through my Window at Night?
If privacy is your biggest issue, then frosted window film is the best window film for you. It is fully opaque and offers day and nighttime privacy. It can be double stacked if you feel you need even more privacy. One benefit about frosted glass film for privacy is that it comes in a wide range of styles or in a plain frost finish to suit any home interior.
Reeded glass film is also an ideal choice for privacy as it distorts the view when looking in or out of your window. Though movement and colours can still be slightly seen with the reeded window film it is highly distorted making it very hard to know what you are looking at. For additional privacy we would recommend choosing the ¼” reeded glass film over the ½” reeded film as the 1/4” reeds on the window film are closer together.
