A Quick Note on Reflective Privacy Films & Mirror Effects
Our reflective and one-way films create a beautiful mirror effect for daytime privacy, allowing you to see out while blocking the view inside. Please note that this effect relies on light levels. On very cloudy days, the reflection may be weaker. At night, if your indoor lights are on, the mirror effect will flip—meaning people outside will be able to see in, and your view out will be restricted.
If heat control is your main issue, then you will need to use blinds or curtains at night to stop the internal mirror effect and provide privacy to your space.

How do I get Night-Time Privacy?
The idea that a "one-way film" can provide both day and night privacy while letting you see out is sadly a myth. One-way mirror films rely strictly on light levels. Because the film reflects the side with the lightest, the effect flips at night when your indoor lights are switched on.
If you need strong privacy, we recommend two excellent alternatives:
- Frosted Window Film (Best for Total Privacy): Perfect for bathrooms, bedrooms, and meeting rooms. This film completely obscures the view from both sides, giving you total peace of mind. As a bonus, the beautiful, frosted finish diffuses light, actually brightening your room and making it feel more welcoming.
- Reeded Window Film (Best for Style & Soft Privacy): This stylish, ribbed film heavily distorts the view from both sides—especially as people move further away from the glass. It is available in clear or coloured finishes, with a choice of 1/2-inch or 1/4-inch reeds to suit your preferred level of privacy.
