A Preston hairstylist relocating a flagship salon needed a contemporary interior finish, exterior identity and solar control on south-facing glazing, with a tight Saturday-to-Tuesday reopening window for the reception desk.

A Cover Styl' brushed-gold architectural film was sampled on a workstation, then applied to the relocated reception desk. Exterior signage and solar-control film were installed as part of the same package.

When Preston hairstylist David Thomas relocated his flagship salon, he approached Lustalux during the design stage. After consultation, a Cover Styl' brushed-gold architectural film was selected. A sample was installed on a workstation first so the finish could be judged in the space.
Timescales were tight. Some work could be carried out in advance at the new salon. When the old salon closed on a Saturday, Lustalux wrapped the relocated reception desk before opening the following Tuesday. Exterior signage and solar-control film on south-facing glazing formed part of the same commercial package.
Reusing the existing reception desk avoided replacing that item solely because its decorative finish needed updating. That is a project-specific benefit, not a claim that architectural film is always the cheapest option, always reduces downtime, or automatically keeps landfill to a minimum.
