A recent Signage installation at Sir Tom Finney Community High School in Preston.
Lustalux designed and installed several signs around the school including the school crest and built-up wording signage. We also installed a custom wall graphic by local artist Dave Rob which shows football legend Tom Finney in front of various Preston landmarks.
How many landmarks can you identify?
Preston-based signage & graphics firm Lustalux recently teamed up with local artist David Robinson of Dave Rob Design to produce stunning bespoke wall murals for Sir Tom Finney Community High School.
Robin Longton of Lustalux explains:
“Whilst on site at Sir Tom Finney Community High School discussing signage and wall graphics project with the School Business Manager she requested a local themed wall mural containing iconic Preston landmarks. Having been an admirer of Dave Robinsons work for some time I thought it would be great to get him on board, I suggested this and showed her some examples of his work and she was immediately keen. Dave then produced a bespoke design which was printed onto our highly durable wall-wrap material and installed at the school as part of a wider project. The school were so impressed that a further bespoke mural was commissioned, this time requiring Dave to incorporate an image of the actual school entrance within the design. Again this was produced and installed by Lustalux and the murals have been tremendously received by everyone at the school.
This was a fantastic collaboration to be involved in, as a long-established Preston-based company, working with a local artist to produce work for a school with obviously strong links to Preston, everything came together perfectly and the end results are stunning. We look forward to collaborating with Dave Robinson again on future projects.
