How do you apply decorative window film?

Our window film is a thin material that should not be folded or bent. It is recommended to install it with two people and to slowly pull the liner off the window film. Ensure to clean your window and scrap off any residue before starting as this can cause bumps or bubbles to show after installation. Once cleaned, spray the window thoroughly with soapy water and place the window film on. While it is wet you can move it around to the correct position and then squeegee out the water. Once the water has been removed underneath the film, the film will start to stick on its own. It may sound daunting but all orders come with a full set of instructions and we also stock a mini tool kit with everything you need which can be ordered separately. 

Which is Better, Static or Adhesive Window Film?

Both static and adhesive glass films have their own pros and cons, so it depends on what you are using it for and how you use it.

Adhesive window film is ideal for long lasting installation but can be removed easily without causing damage to your windows. They have a longer lifespan and will not fall off your windows. They are moisture resistant, many have solar control, offer higher quality materials are available in more unique designs and clear materials. They are renter friendly without the worry that it will fall or start to bubble quickly, and due to the moisture resistance and higher quality, it makes them ideal for bathrooms or rooms with heat fluctuations. The downside of this adhesive film is that it is less forgiving when installing and can be harder to remove any bubbles, making it harder to install.
