what is glass safety film?
safety film is an adhesive polyester layer bonded to glazing to help hold the glass together in the event of breakage. thicknesses are measured in microns or mil—baseline is typically 4 mil (100 micron), with higher specs (7, 8, 12 mil) providing increased protection.
